Welcome to Creating Safe Spaces training
This online course will take about 2 hours to complete. Senior Church Leaders should allow a further 30 minutes to complete the optional but strongly encouraged Lesson 5. You can complete it over multiple sittings.
Content Note: Please note that this training addresses sensitive issues including child sexual abuse, elder abuse, and domestic violence. This content may cause some distress to some participants.
We encourage you to pause and contact appropriate pastoral care if you begin to struggle with any of the material.
In addition we note that some of the material may make you feel uncomfortable, especially if it challenges your past assumptions and practices.
Practical notes: Please ensure that you click on all the “Marked Complete” buttons at the bottom of each lesson and topic so the system can remember your progress. This includes Lesson 5 for church leaders, even if you are opting not to complete this lesson.
