Creating Safe Spaces Wallsend (Korean)

This workshop will be conducted in Korean

The workshop is intended to provide you with training on Safe Church principles and practices.

If you are a pastor, elder, deacon (policy decision-maker), a ministry leader, a children’s/youth team member or leader, SRE teacher or minister to any vulnerable people, you are required to attend a Safe Church Training course such as this.

This workshop will cover:

  • Duty of care, positional power, transparency and accountability
  • Protecting vulnerable people including children at risk of harm – definitions, indicators and response procedures
  • Information about training, recruiting and supervising leaders

Presented by the Association of Baptist Churches of NSW and ACT.

A Leaders’ Session designed for senior leaders (pastors, elders, deacons) will be scheduled after the workshop to focus on the implementation of recommended policies in your church context.

Attendees are expected to have completed the online module of Creating Safe Spaces ($10) prior to attending this face to face workshop.
