Creating Safe Spaces material is constantly updated to reflect relevant legal changes. In addition, every three years we undertake a comprehensive redevelopment of the content and presentation. The most recent review was launched in March 2021.
The redeveloped Creating Safe Spaces material covers additional material on church culture, power imbalances, evidence-based approaches to reducing abuse, risk management and consequences of inadequate risk management as well as an overview of recent legal changes.
A handbook will be launched to support Creating Safe Spaces training and provide a source of reference for churches and Safe Church Teams.
